The Foam Cell shock absorbers included in this kit are our best-selling shocks, offering versatile performance. Whether you go off-roading occasionally on weekends or spend most of the year in demanding terrain, Foam Cell shocks are built to handle it all.
The Foam Cell design uses a micro-cellular foam insert that significantly reduces cavitation—along with excessive aeration, one of the most common causes of shock absorber failure. Under heavy loads, oil and gas in the external chamber can mix and create bubbles, reducing oil viscosity. When aerated oil passes through the valve, it creates less resistance, preventing the shock absorber from functioning properly. The Foam Cell insert fills the space normally occupied by air or nitrogen, eliminating bubble formation and ensuring consistent damping performance even under prolonged heavy suspension loads.
Thanks to 9-stage adjustability, you can easily control shock stiffness and adapt to changing driving conditions. Choose a firmer setting for highway travel, then adjust it when it’s time to tackle the trails.
