The dual-pressure chambers provide excellent stability for the vehicle in corners. The adjustable nitrogen pressure allows for quick changes in suspension settings, from soft to firm, and vice versa, as well as adjustments to the vehicle’s height. We can adjust both rebound and compression damping, and the shock absorber is also equipped with an internal hydraulic bumpstop to limit impacts during compression stroke. The external shape of the shock absorber tube has been designed to increase the cooling surface area. As desert tests show, a well-tuned suspension with ORI shocks heats up to about 40°C after 2.5 hours of fast desert driving.
